Next week is Ploughing week and a lot of planning and co-ordinating has to go into setting everything up. All of the log saws, log splitters, trailers, kindling machines and cranes were loaded up yesterday along with plenty logs for those infamous live demos! Denis Farrissey Transport in Mallow is landed with the job of hauling it all up to Tullamore today. The Ploughing match gives people a great opportunity to call and see our range of wood equipment in the flesh, see how well made and strongly built it actually is. We try to show as much as we can on our website, we try to demonstrate the log splitters and log saws as much as possible in various videos. And the majority of customers are really happy with that, they can see Mick Hartnett using the machines and not shying away from nasty logs or tougher bits of wood. That's what people want to see. And they are happy to order over the phone or online and have the saw or splitter delivered. However, you do have customers that live far away and would like to get a feel of the machine before buying. This is where the Ploughing Championships play a big role. And our display of wood equipment also introduces new customers to machines that they never knew existed! And once they see how easy the log splitters and log saws make the job of firewood, then they are delighted! Every farmer has a tree down somewhere on his land and although he knows it's holding a great resource of heat in the form of firewood, he just can't motivate himself to go swinging at it with an axe. He alredy has enough physical work to do every day! But when he sees how easy the job can be with a log splitter, he's sold on the idea. And, very quickly he's saving money on coal and oil and using his own local fuel supply - a tree!
So if you're interested in buying a log splitter or buying a log saw, then call to our stand next week (STAND NO. 102, BLOCK 3, ROW 4) and we'll have a machine to suit your needs.
We have log splitters for sale, log saws for sale, trailers for sale and lots more. Live demos every day. Free tea and biscuits too!!
